We went to the Parkland walk on a ‘Hedgehog habitat hunt’. We had so much fun exploring nature. We found: rabbit warrens, spiders webs, sap, wild mushrooms, habitat holes in trees, woodlice and (sadly) a dead bird. Our teachers and TA’s were so impressed with our behaviour that we were able to have freedom to choose where to explore. We discussed the nature we had explored and found that we had discovered many shelters, food sources and water sources for different British wildlife to live in, such as under tree trunks, within trees and under leaves. We loved being outside climbing and being among nature. It was a nice escape from our usually busy city lives!
