Meet our STEM Ambassadors!
At St. Gildas' we are very interested in listening to and including our pupils' voices in the decisions that are made to further childrens' learning and experiences in Science and that is why we recruited 8 pupils to become STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) Ambassadors for the school.
The STEM Ambassador team is made up of pupils from across the school and it is their agenda to meet once per month to discuss the state of STEM at St. Gildas' and make decisions and plans on how they can improve the experiences for pupils.
Our STEM team have already be active, with a STEM sale at the Christmas Fayre. They set up shop and raised a brilliant £103 profit from selling STEM gadgets and books.
The STEM team are now in discussions to think of ways to spend that money on more STEM opportunities for the school.
A big thank you to everyone who supported the STEM team at the Christmas Fayre.
