Brexit Referendum Vote: Let young people have a say!

Last Friday, 5B led the whole school in a special EU Referendum. Every class had to sign-up to the St Gildas’ electoral register and bring their passport to be able to vote on the day. The hall was transformed into a polling station, where electoral officials oversaw proceedings. The children were so excited to be able to debate Brexit in class and have their own ‘meaningful’ vote at school. Thank you for your participation in the event.

Results:

Remain: 90%
